About
Hello, I’m Veronica, a professional baker and pastry chef with a career rooted in community, creativity, and craftsmanship. My journey began in 2018 when I enrolled in the Baking and Pastry program at City College of San Francisco. Just a year later, I joined Rosalind Bakery in Pacifica, where I spent three formative years developing signature pastries and helping build a thriving pastry program from the ground up. In 2020, I entered my pop up era beginning with Morsels then on to Mangia Brunch Pop-Up. By 2022, I stepped into the role of Head Baker at Twelvemonth Restaurant in Burlingame, where I’ve been leading the bakehouse and deepening my craft through the lens of plant-based and vegan pastry innovation. Then in 2024, I brought things home—literally—with The Bakesale, Pacifica’s first backyard bakery pop-up. Hosted in the garden of my childhood home, lovingly tended by my mom, The Bakesale has become a monthly community event offering fresh pastries, cold-pressed juices, and a slice of something nostalgic. Now, I’m proud to introduce Ragamuffin Bakery—a small-batch, cottage micro bakery based in San Bruno, where I’ve lived for the past six years. I've long felt that our area deserves access to the kind of artisanal, thoughtfully crafted baked goods that are so abundant just up the road in San Francisco—and now, I’m bringing that experience home. Welcoming our community in their coziest, sleepiest states to pick up the freshest goods straight from the oven.
Humble bakes. Wild edges. Always in season.
